FA Footballtraining is an innovative football school for children aged 3 to 7. We offer a unique and structured football program where children not only develop football skills but also grow in their motor, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
Our methodology is based on a progressive learning system, similar to that of a primary school: children start at their own level and gradually progress to the next level.
We offer our football training at two locations: Amsterdam and Amstelveen.
About our founder Francis Akuffo
FA Footballtraining was founded by Francis Akuffo: a passionate trainer, teacher, and educational specialist with a passion for child development. Francis has experience training a wide range of players: from toddlers and preschoolers taking their first steps on the pitch to young talents in the U7s through U21s, and first-team players at professional football clubs like FC Volendam, FC Utrecht, and Sparta Rotterdam.
Besides his work at FA Footballtraining, Francis works as a physical education teacher, classroom teacher, and personal coach at primary schools in Amsterdam and Almere. There, he supports children in their cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development, both in regular classrooms and with students who need extra attention or structure. He also provides practical workshops at schools, aimed at improving group dynamics in struggling classrooms. Using sports and games as a tool, he helps children work together again, show respect, and strengthen each other. The combination of sports, structure, and positive coaching is both motivating and connecting.
Francis is also constantly developing himself. He continues to learn, reflect, and innovate, so he can continue to give the best – to his players, his students, and the children he coaches.
