The main lesson objectives per training are:
  • Motor development: Balance, speed, coordination
  • Learning football skills: First contact with the ball
  • Spatial insight & cooperation: Learning to move in a group
  • Fun & game forms: Enthusiasm is central
Each training consists of four fixed components, tailored to the age and experience of the child.

Example training day
  • Motor skills: Running, jumping, turning, walking on toes
  • Ball feeling: Dribbling with the inside of the foot (exercise of the month)
  • Spatial insight: Reaction games with simple instructions
  • Fun: Each training ends with a playful challenge
In addition to movement and ball feeling, the emphasis is on the development of social and cognitive skills:
  • Listening & following instructions: How do you respond to a coach?
  • Cooperation & group behavior: How do you play with others?
  • Dealing with small challenges: Learning to persevere, make mistakes and get back up
  • Building trust: Breaking away from parental guidance and working independently with the coach

During this phase, parents can support their child during training, but the goal is that children learn to train confidently and independently with the coach during the season, without the help of mom or dad.

During this phase, children learn mainly by experiencing. They discover that trial and error is part of the learning process. This is an essential step in their athletic and personal growth!

  • Training: Moving, experimenting and getting used to the ball.
  • Failure: Learning through play that making mistakes is normal.
  • Growing: Measuring success by progress, not by performance.
Children receive their own personalized sticker book. Each month, they work on one skill.

  • For effort or success, they receive a sticker.
  • A full book? Then they can choose something from the treasure chest
  • This visual reward system gives them pride, motivation, and structure.
